Sliding Fees Scale / Insurance Coverage

The North Hills Youth Ministry Counseling Center is a non-profit therapeutic outreach to the community. For individuals and families without mental health insurance coverage fees for "services rendered" are, in most cases, based on a sliding scale which corresponds to the household income of the family being treated. W-2's are requested at the first session of treatment and a payment level on the sliding scale is agreed upon. Even though the fees schedule is very affordable, "per session," payments can be adjusted to forego hardship within a household. While the fees collected do help to maintain the offices and ongoing work of the agency it should be noted that clients are never turned away merely because of an inability to pay for services.

We are a certified treatment center for any who have a health plan managed by Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, UPMC, and United Behavior Health. To find out if we are providers for your health care plan call the number on the back of your insurance card to contact your HMO for policy benefit information. Feel free to e-mail us with any questions about our sliding scale and insurance coverage.
